“"The value of these initiatives is educational and formative. These programs help students complement their training and learn more about current and future energy, as well as the importance of conserving wetlands. But these awards also serve to highlight the good work of those students who have gone a little further in their involvement and learning in these programs."

Moeve has concluded its Energy Campus educational program, which saw the participation of 2,040 students and 140 teachers from 53 educational centers across the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga, who visited the San Roque Energy Park.
The Energy Campus, a didactic initiative combining digital and in-person elements, was designed by Andalusian teachers to introduce ESO, Baccalaureate, and vocational training students to the world of energy, safety, sustainability, and ecological transition. This year, the San Roque Energy Park facilities hosted the participants, with the sessions concluding with students from IES Torre Almenara in Estepona.
The program includes online lessons and exercises, complemented by visits to Moeve's industrial facilities. The company aims to educate on the evolution of energy and the application of crude oil derivatives in daily life, as well as its commitment to energy transition through the 2030 Positive Motion Strategy. This strategy involves an investment of up to 8 billion euros to become a leader in sustainable mobility, green hydrogen, and advanced biofuels in Spain and Portugal.
Following the training, students were invited to participate in a project competition related to the energy sector. The jury, comprising a councilor from San Roque City Council, a Moeve engineer, and the Corporate Affairs manager, selected 22 projects for their effort, innovation, and creativity. Awards were given for both the collective category of the Energy Campus and the Wetlands Day event, aimed at primary school students and managed by the Moeve Foundation.
In the collective category of the Energy Campus, the first prize went to the Wind Farm project, presented by students from IES Santo Domingo in Puerto Santa María. The second award was for the Hydrogen Refueling Stations in Andalusia project, by students from IES Dr. Rodríguez Delgado in Ronda, and third place went to the Moevepoly project, from Colegio Nuestra Señora de los Milagros in Algeciras. A special mention was granted to the Development of Biofuels and Ecological Fuels project, from IES Ramón y Cajal in Fuengirola. The individual category of the competition was declared void.
Regarding the Moeve Foundation's World Wetlands Day school program, the first prize in the Drawing category was awarded to a student from CEIP Carteia in San Roque, while the top award in Photography went to a student from CEIP Puertoblanco in Algeciras. Second and third places in Drawing were for students from CEIP Providencia Sagrado Corazón in San Roque and CEIP Puertoblanco, respectively. In the Photography competition, a student from CEIP Cristo Rey in Jimena de la Frontera secured second place, and third place was declared void.
