The initiative allowed the brands Julieta Brand, Gisela, Maumar Couture, Teressa Ninú, García Galiano, and Inma de la Riva to connect with the Italian fashion ecosystem. The delegation, accompanied by Esperanza González, Deputy of Sustainable Economic Development, and Nadia Díaz Alcaide from the Chamber of Commerce, conducted market research to analyze trends, positioning strategies, and distribution channels.
The program included professional visits to WHITE Milano, a key contemporary fashion fair in the Tortona Fashion District, where companies could observe product and presentation trends, as well as the strategies of international brands. A visit to the Elisa Gaito showroom was also made to understand its commercialization and distribution operations.
Other notable activities included attending the fashion show ‘In Passerella l’Eccellenza Artigiana’ at the Chiostri di San Barnaba and the Korean Collective event at the Palazzo Isimbardi. The mission also featured a meeting with representatives from ICEX Spain and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Milan to gain insights into the Italian market and institutional support.
This mission is part of the ‘Impulsa Málaga de Moda’ project, which aims to enhance the competitiveness and international projection of Málaga's fashion companies. The objective is for participating brands to gain a broader understanding of the international market, establish new contacts, and identify commercialization opportunities.
