The campaign, presented today by the Councilor for Economic Development and Promotion, María de la O Redondo, will run in two 15-day periods, from October 1st to 15th and from October 16th to 31st, with 50,000 euros available in each. The number of participating establishments is expanded to 110 businesses, including four from the hospitality sector, aiming to encourage local purchases and boost economic activity.
The voucher system remains the same as in the first phase. Citizens can download them through the platform bonoconsumo.lucena.es, in digital or paper format. For general retail, a 10 euro voucher will be applied for purchases of 30 euros, and 20 euros for purchases over 60 euros. In hospitality, discounts will be 10 euros for consumptions of 50 euros and 20 euros for those over 100 euros.
Vouchers will be valid for 48 hours from download. If not used within that period, they will become available again on the platform, provided there are still vouchers left. Businesses cannot select which vouchers to accept, nor can they be used to purchase gift cards. In case of returns, the voucher will not be refunded; the establishment will determine if an exchange or a store credit is applicable.
“"We encourage citizens to stay alert for the platform's opening and take advantage of this second phase, whose first 50,000 euros will be available starting tomorrow at 10:00 AM."
