The electricity company Endesa has invested over €170,000 in upgrading the medium-voltage grid in Santiponce, Seville, to improve the reliability of electricity supply for more than 2,100 customers.

Endesa's network subsidiary, e-distribución, has completed reinforcement works on the medium-voltage grid in Santiponce. This intervention, representing an investment exceeding €170,000, will directly enhance the quality and reliability of the electricity supply for over 2,100 residential and commercial customers.
The work involved replacing more than 900 meters of medium-voltage cabling. As it is an underground network, the operations required coordination with the City Council for trench excavation on Calle Jaén and traffic diversions. The new installation incorporates advanced technology to strengthen the power supply.
These projects are part of e-distribución's Investment Plan for Seville, approved by the Junta de Andalucía. This plan aims to renovate, automate, expand, and improve Seville's electricity distribution networks, with the goal of enhancing service quality and facilitating the progressive integration of renewable energies.
