The Junta de Andalucía has begun transferring nearly three million euros to municipalities in the province of Córdoba to repair damage caused by the storms recorded between January and February 2026.

This economic deployment is part of a 35-million-euro package approved by the Andalusian Government to assist 505 municipalities across the region. These funds are intended for the rehabilitation, cleaning, and reinforcement of public facilities and services that suffered damage during the state of meteorological emergency declared earlier this year.
In the case of Córdoba, the territorial delegations of Justice, Local Administration and Public Function have started paying out budget advances. Out of the 57 municipalities in Córdoba that submitted their applications, the vast majority are in the process of receiving the funds allocated following the technical assessment carried out by Civil Protection services.
Despite the availability of the funds, the process has revealed that six towns in the province—Adamuz, Aguilar, Conquista, La Granjuela, La Rambla, and Pedro Abad—have not formalized their aid applications despite having the amounts officially recognized.
The aid schedule was activated following the publication in the BOJA on February 23, 2026, with an application period that ended on April 20. The funds aim to restore normalcy to municipal infrastructure affected by the succession of storms that impacted the autonomous community.
