The childcare company Asalvo, headquartered in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville), has achieved significant international expansion, reaching 90 countries and generating 14 million euros in revenue, with plans for new facilities.

Asalvo, born from a need identified in the child safety market, has established itself as a leader in the design and manufacturing of baby products. With nearly 25 years of experience, the Seville-based firm has expanded its catalog, which includes everything from strollers and car seats to cribs and bouncers, to compete with major players in the sector.
Founded in 2002 by Ana Toscano, the company originated from the idea to create a safety device to prevent childhood accidents in swimming pools. The initial prototype, though rudimentary, was effective and laid the groundwork for a project that soon grew beyond domestic use. Jesús La Casa joined as a financial partner, and after a preparation period and sourcing suppliers in Asia, Asalvo launched its first line of lightweight childcare products.
Initially focused on child safety, Asalvo broadened its offerings to include larger items, such as its first travel crib in 2007. Currently, the company operates with five proprietary brands and an extensive catalog, in addition to manufacturing private labels for major distributors. Its clients include giants like El Corte Inglés, Carrefour, Amazon, and hotel chains such as NH and Meliá.
Product design is carried out in Alcalá de Guadaíra, while manufacturing takes place in China, with rigorous quality controls and European homologations. Internationalization has been key to its growth, with products available in approximately 90 countries across four continents, including unique destinations like French Polynesia.
With a workforce of around 40 people, Asalvo sells 1.5 million products annually. After overcoming the impact of the pandemic and rising logistics costs, the company's revenue reached 14 million euros in 2025. Future plans include opening a distribution center in the Middle East and constructing a new headquarters in Alcalá de Guadaíra, which will double its storage capacity.
More than two decades after its founding, Asalvo continues to focus on safe and affordable products, democratizing high-end childcare by combining quality with competitive pricing, and solidifying its presence in mass retail.
