Airbus has successfully completed the consolidation of its operations in the Bay of Cádiz, transferring all activity from Puerto Real to its facilities in El Puerto de Santa María.

The aeronautical multinational Airbus has successfully finalized the relocation of its Puerto Real plant to the facilities in El Puerto de Santa María. The last to complete the move were about fifteen employees who were still based at the Trocadero industrial park, finishing work related to the manufacturing of spare parts for the A380 model.
This milestone adheres to the established deadlines and commitments made to the workforce, as highlighted by the works council. The integration of operations in El Puerto de Santa María now forms a workforce exceeding 750 people.
The former Puerto Real plant, recently acquired by the Chinese company Zhenshi for fiberglass production, had continued to operate under a rental agreement. During the transition, it housed production lines for commercial aircraft such as the A320, A350, and A330, as well as specific works for the A380, while the new facilities were being adapted.
