Seville Airport will feature a new and expanded VIP lounge, following Aena's award of its construction for 3.4 million euros, with an estimated completion time of one year.

The new infrastructure, which will more than double the current lounge's area, will be built as an annex to the north side of the terminal, offering nearly 780 square meters of usable space. This project addresses the significant increase in demand for VIP services, which has seen a nearly 90% rise in users between 2022 and 2025.
Despite expansions carried out in 2018 and 2024, the current lounge's dimensions are insufficient to meet future needs, which last year recorded 122,443 passengers. The work will be executed by companies Aeropuertos Obra Civil (Aocsa) and Instalaciones Eléctricas Crima (Crimasa).
The new facilities will include a meeting room, a relaxation area, press and television services, a spacious catering zone, and restroom facilities with a nursing room. The design will prioritize accessibility and the incorporation of sustainable and natural materials in its finishes. Once operational, the current VIP lounge will be repurposed for new uses.
