The University of Jaén and the company Desay SV Automotive Electronics CO Ltd have formalized an agreement allowing students to undertake external academic internships in the electric automotive sector in Linares.

This agreement is part of the General Protocol of Action signed in January by the university with the Shenzhen University of Information Technology of China, a leading institution in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and 5G.
One of the first actions stemming from this agreement will be the opportunity for UJA students to carry out internships, both curricular and extracurricular, in the field of electric automotive. This initiative aims to facilitate job placement in a constantly growing and evolving sector.

"This will undoubtedly lead to greater ease of job placement in this pioneering field."

Although the company specializes in engineering, electronics, Artificial Intelligence, and telecommunications, the educational collaboration agreement has been established with a generic character. This allows any undergraduate or postgraduate student from the University of Jaén to access these internships, thus covering a greater number of degrees and academic profiles.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the Vice-Rector for Official Studies of the UJA, along with several members of the management and human resources department of Desay SV, including an executive vice president and CEO of the company. Also present were the director of the External Internships Secretariat of the UJA and the director of the Linares Polytechnic School.
This agreement consolidates a "cooperation triangle" between the UJA, Shenzhen University, and Desay SV, offering a valuable opportunity for university students by bringing together academic and industrial partners at a time of technological boom in the automotive industry.
