The Emprende-UCO-Diputación de Córdoba program is in its final stage for the 2025/2026 edition, featuring 22 projects that have completed their training and mentorship. These initiatives span diverse sectors such as technology, engineering, agri-food, creativity, design, health, well-being, and professional services.
The initiative has provided over 90 hours of training and a mentorship program designed to transform ideas into sustainable and innovative businesses. Out of 70 initial pre-registrations, 55 applications were received, resulting in 25 admitted projects with 35 participants, of whom 22 have reached the final phase.
Participation has shown a notable gender balance, with 48.6% women and 51.4% men. Furthermore, 32% of the projects come from municipalities within the province, such as Villaharta, Villafranca de Córdoba, Fernán Núñez, La Carlota, Nueva Carteya, Posadas, or Palma del Río. Forty percent of participants are students or graduates from the University of Córdoba.
The projects are categorized into areas like consulting, business services, tourism, creative economy, health, well-being, education, social inclusion, technological innovation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
The winners will be announced on September 21st at the Emprende-UCO-Diputación de Córdoba Awards Gala, where accolades such as 'Provincial Development', 'Business Model', 'Social Commitment', 'Entrepreneurial Woman', and the main 'Emprende-UCO-Diputación de Córdoba' award will be presented.
