While diesel prices have increased by 5.8% since March 27, coinciding with the first phase of the Holy Week exodus, reaching an average of 1.881 euros per liter, the INV station in Vélez-Rubio stands apart from this trend. This value represents the highest since the implementation of the fuel tax reduction.
According to the latest data from the National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC), gasoline has also seen an increase, standing at 1.573 euros per liter, 1% more expensive than at the end of March. However, when compared to March 21, before the tax reduction, diesel has decreased by 4.5% and gasoline by 13.5%.
Global instability, exacerbated by the conflict in Iran, has led to filling a 55-liter diesel tank costing approximately 103.45 euros, and a gasoline tank, 86.51 euros. Before taxes, diesel has risen by 10.5% and gasoline by 3.8% since March 21, with diesel marking its highest pre-tax price of the year this Tuesday.
Despite these fluctuations, the INV station, located in the La Forja, 79/80 industrial estate in Vélez-Rubio, in the Los Vélez region, has maintained its price of 1.28 euros per liter for diesel. This is 31.9% less than the national average price and 41.7% below the maximum selling price recorded at other stations, such as those in Alhama de Murcia and Lepe (Huelva), where diesel reached 2.199 euros per liter.
